What is Spring break like in Puerto Rico…

There is no better place to spend your Spring break than Puerto Rico (at least for me.) It has everything you need in order to have a fun time: amazing food, tons of dancing, a great nightlife, beautiful scenery (best beaches ever,) kind people, many historic sites and a cool vibe overall.

Here is a little summary of my journey through this mind-blowing island over the course of a week:This is how El Caribe looks like from afar! We often times feel so grand, but in the big scheme of things… we are just a moment in time. Views like this one certainly change your perspective on life. 

First things first: Brunch with my big brother! He is such an inspiring man who has influenced me more than anyone else, I am kind of a small version of him!  (Btw. Aren’t my bracelets cute? They are from Kaisa Accessories in Miami, FL!)

Santurce es Ley is a yearly event that focuses on street art in the area of Santurce, PR!

You all know my obsession with avocados… so yes, I ate an avocado a day while in Puerto Rico. Here is my homemade version of an avo toast: 

Road to paradise…

Kind of a hidden spot in Cabo Rojo, Puerto Rico. Make sure you go with a local! Definitely, a must-go in the island!

I was really really really happy. How couldn’t I be? I had no homework, no schedule to follow, no chores, just salty water, sand on my feet and a pair of sunglasses!

While in Puerto Rico… get açaí for breakfast.

I wish I could be here every day… this is Río La Planta in Arecibo, PR. 

My friends from New York came to visit me in Puerto Rico, so that was quite an adventure!

Natural strawberry kiwi ice pop? YES PLEASE! 

This girl is more than my friend, she is family! Give us some chancletas and we can conquer the world together!

This young man grew up just around the corner from me and is now moving to the U.S. to study, so this was actually our last road trip together, at least in a while…
